What Does the Process Look Like of Hiring a Virtual Assistant?

So you’re ready to hire a virtual assistant , but don’t know the next step? I’ll walk you through the simple process of bringing on a VA for your business.

  1. There are several companies that hire out virtual assistants as a service. Personally, I’m a fan of hiring a VA directly rather than going through a staffing company so you can ensure you’re picking the person that aligns best with your business and goals! Join Facebook groups that fit your business and style (I love Women Helping Women Entrepreneurs and SocietyGal), then post a basic job description on the page and watch the responses come rolling in!

  2. Book a free consultation call with one or more of the people who responded to your post. These are typically 30 minutes long and should go over your goals, pain points, and the areas you most need help.

  3. Wait for a contract. After the call, the virtual assistant should follow up with a contract and proposal, outlining the services they can offer you and their rate.

  4. Then get to work! Once you’ve hired your VA, you can watch as you gain back time and flexibility to invest in other areas of your business and personal life.

I would love to chat with you about YOUR goals and how I can help you achieve them. You can book a free consultation call with me to learn more!
