My Work Schedule as a Mama of 2

Work from home mama life can be chaotic AF but the biggest game changer for me was letting go of this thought that working hours needed to be Monday-Friday, 9-5

Here's a peek into my routine:

MWF: no childcare - so it is a lot of errands, playdates with mama friends, river days, and activities like swim, soccer & dance!

I use naptime to get any pressing work done, and then will do work in the evenings when needed!

T/Th: preschool/daycare day so these are the days my schedule is open for client calls, podcast interviews, and I schedule in time blocks for specific client work.

This can look like...

9:30-11:30am: COPYWRITING block - I write a bunch of email campaigns and blog posts for clients in one sitting

11:30am - 12:30pm: lunch break and walk the dogs

12:45pm - 1:30pm - client call

2:00pm- 4:30pm - admin block, uploading products to client shopify website, schedule email campaigns, etc.

I also love to go to the coffee shop for a few hours on a weekend morning or go to awine bar on a random Wednesday night if I need to get caught up or finish something! I absolutely love the flexibility of being present in my kids' lives and averaging $8-10k per month

What are your thoughts around flexible work schedules and ditching the 9-5?!!

Take note that even with NO childcare - you can have a successful business if you are willing to work naptime and random hours throughout the week!
