Top 10 High Income Skills for Work from Home Moms
I am passionate about empowering women (especially moms!) to take a leap of faith in their careers and do something different. Not the typical 9-5 desk job. And NOT the get-rich-quick route that makes promises without the payout.
There are definitely ways to make good money while working from home. Here are my top 10 picks for skills that are in high demand that also bring in a solid income.
1. Virtual Assistant
You knew this one would be on the list! My VA business has grown to nearly six figures in less than two years and with part time hours. There is a huge demand for VAs as more entrepreneurs are looking for remote support. Check out my free training on how to start your own VA biz!
2. Email Marketing
This is one of the most important marketing strategies. Smart entrepreneurs know that and are willing to pay the big bucks to hire someone to help. If you’re interested in pursuing this niche, check out my Email Marketing Specialty Mini Course!
3. Copywriting
If you love writing, you definitely want to consider adding this as a specialty to your VA services. Copywriters are in high demand right now, and you can create package or retainer rates that can net you up to $600/month for one client!
4. Graphic Design
Entrepreneurs need beautiful graphics for just about everything these days! Social media posts, Instagram stories, email newsletters, and more. And platforms like Canva make it so you don’t have to have a graphic design degree to become a talented creator.
5. Social Media Management/Marketing
This is another niche that is ALWAYS growing. And the great thing is, you don't have to have a ton of social media experience to be a Social Media Manager. Yes, you heard that right. If you've got the passion, then you can grow WITH your clients. Check out my Social Media Manager Mini Course to learn the ins and outs about making this your specialty.
6. Affiliate and/or Influencer Marketing
This is a more passive type of income and a way to make money when you sell something for someone else. I love partnering with people and brands I love, including my client Kim. Check out our Monetizing Your Naptime Hustle course - a complete starter guide to creating a successful work-from-home business to start making an income during naptime!
7. Web Design
If you have an eye for design and like working with platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix, then this could be the niche for you! Start out by building your own website, and take advantage of the online training available to hone your skills.
8. Course Creation
This is MY specialty, and one that I never imagined for myself just one year ago. I specialize in designing courses in Kajabi and love that this has become my niche.
9. Content Creation
Content creation can include anything from blog posts to social media strategies to online newsletters, and more. Busy entrepreneurs are always looking for help in this area to keep their brand fresh and engaging.
10. Audio & Video Production
This can include anything from podcast editing and production to YouTube videos to Instagram stories.
