Supporting Your Clients During Holiday Sales

The holiday season is upon us, and chances are, at least one of your clients will be running a holiday sale. As a buyer, holiday sales are fun and a great way to score a good deal on something you love. But there’s SO much that goes on behind the scenes for a sale to be successful. So whether you’re running the sale for your own biz or supporting a client, I’ve pulled together some tried and true tips to keep everyone organized (and sane!) during holiday sale season.

  1. Plan your content calendar ahead of time. No one will take advantage of a sale if they don’t know about it! Engaging with social media followers as well as your email list is critical to the sale’s success. Be sure to plan your content well in advance so your client isn’t scrambling to connect with people at the last minute. Freebies, teasers, testimonials, and sneak previews should be tucked into social and email content for at least a few weeks leading up to the launch of the sale.

  2. Set all the reminders! Stay on top of the many dates and moving pieces prior to the sale by setting up task reminders for both you and your client. This will help you get everything to your client in a timely manner and ensures no one will forget an important task leading up to the sale launch.

  3. Maintain healthy boundaries. This is a big one! Crush it with all the sale prep and then be sure to protect your time so you can enjoy the holiday season with your family. What’s the point of working for yourself if you’re so busy working for someone else that you miss your own family traditions?!

And bonus tip? Make sure your sales page looks fresh and relevant for your sale. Check out this post for sales page-must haves and grab my free checklist!

Hope this leaves you feeling inspired and prepared to tackle the holiday craziness while still being able to enjoy all the magic and coziness of the season.
