How to Create Multiple Streams of Income

Retainer: Retainer clients are ones you work with consistently on a month to month basis. Typically, the client has specific tasks you support each day/week/month (inbox management, social media support, copywriting, etc.). Our private Facebook group for VA Bootcamp always has postings for retainer opportunities, so this type of work should be fairly easy to secure with the right connections.

Project: These are clients you work with for a limited period of time on a specific task/project (e.g. a product/service launch or web design/updates). If you don’t have project clients - take a look at my Email Marketing Specialty Course. This is a WONDERFUL way to have larger income streams with short-term clients.

Passive Income: Passive income is one of the best ways to increase your income without increasing your hours. It takes a bit of preparation up front, but if you do it well, it can end up meaning way less work over time. If you are serious about hitting six figures (yes 👏🏽 you 👏🏽 can!) - invest in learning about online courses and how you can create, launch, and sell yours! Changes happen in business. I once had a long-term client drop me without any notice (thank goodness I had a solid contract in place!). If I didn’t have multiple streams of income, this could have been devastating for my family’s budget. Thankfully, I didn’t have to panic because I was prepared!

Being blindsided and dropped by a client *could* shake you. But you are a professional, level-headed woman with a sustainable business.
